The Big Wagyus - Rising Stars of Southern WV - 9/10th Grade Girls

With March Madness just around the corner, we at FOTC decided to send the Big Wagu out to scout the top underclassmen—freshmen and sophomores! Every year, a few teams have young talent that gets everyone excited about the future. Let’s take a look at the rising stars! (In no particular order)

1. Peyton Raban – Shady Spring (Freshman)

Stats: 9.8 PPG, 12 RPG

Peyton does the hard work in the trenches. Already averaging nearly a double-double, she will only get stronger. Look for her to be a force in Class 3A, Region 3, for the next three years.

2. Natalie Rose – Princeton (Freshman)

Stats: 6.1 PPG, 3.3 RPG

Natalie plays downhill and has a smooth mid-range jumper.

3. Zoey Williams – Woodrow Wilson (Freshman)

Stats: 13.9 PPG, 5.1 RPG

Zoey excels at pushing the ball up the court and has a reliable pull-up jumper.

4. Mya Dunlap – James Monroe (Sophomore)

Stats: 16.7 PPG

Mya has proven to be a team leader and a player the offense can run through.

5. Ella Botts – Summit (Sophomore)

Stats: 22.3 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 5.8 APG, 7.0 SPG, 76% FT

Ella contributes in every aspect of the game. She has already surpassed the 1,000-point mark, and her stats speak for themselves.
