5. Maddison Davis (Sophomore ā Virginia High)
Maddison earned her spot on the court as a freshman and has quickly become a walking double-double. Averaging 9.5 PPG and 9 RPG, she has found her rhythm. With multiple 20-rebound games and coming off a 20-point performance last week, she ended her season on a high note. Davis, bewareāsheās arrived.
4. Katelynn Witt (Sophomore ā Union)
Katelynn is a bucket. Sheās been in some impressive conversations this season. Her vision and ability to get the ball inside have been as strong as anyoneās, and if you take your eyes off her, sheāll drop 20 on you. Union has found a key piece for a team that showed promise in a less-than-ideal season. Moving forward, theyāll be just fine with #5 leading the way.
3. Aubrey Moore (Freshman ā Central Wise)
Aubrey has made her presence felt as a freshman on a loaded Central Wise teamāno easy task. Her teammates trust her, her coaches trust her, and she delivers. She has hit double digits in nearly half of her games, with a season-high of 19 points. A natural scorer, sheāll be a major factor next year as Central Wise leans on her with big names graduating.
2. Julianna Farmer (Freshman ā Honaker)
The 5ā11ā Julianna Farmer is in the perfect position to thrive, surrounded by some of the best talent in the area. Learning from elite players now will only set her up for years to come. A true do-it-all player, sheās averaging 10 PPG, 2.5 APG, 4.5 RPG, 3.7 SPG, and even 1 BPG. If you donāt know her name yet, you will soon.
1. Drew Damron (Sophomore ā Eastside)
The 6ā0ā sophomore is basketball royalty. As the daughter of Coach Drew Damron, itās clear the game runs in her blood. After winning a state championship as a freshman, she became a vital piece of the 2024 Eastside Lady Spartans. Leading the team in scoring on multiple nights, 20-point performances are the norm for her. Also a volleyball star, Damron is a competitor at heart. Sheās a dogāand dogs eat.
