🏈 Late-Round Dynasty Draft Steals: Deep Targets Worth the Stash

Every year, late-round dynasty picks emerge from the shadows to become league winners. Below is a breakdown of potential draft-and-stash dynasty players — quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers — who may fly under the radar now but could pay dividends later.

🧠 Quarterback

Will Howard – Pittsburgh Steelers 🔥

If Howard falls to you — draft him and figure the rest out later. He’s a perfect stash-and-go QB. The tools are there, and all he needs is opportunity. Don’t overthink it.

🏃‍♂️ Running Backs

Dylan Sampson – Cleveland Browns 🚨🔥🔥

Cleveland’s backfield just got younger with Sampson and Judkins in the mix. Jerome Ford’s time is limited, and both rookies should see the field early. Sampson has RB1B potential by next year. Draft and stash.

Bhayushul Tuten – Jacksonville Jaguars 🚨🔥

This year’s De’Von Achane? Tuten is lightning fast (low 4.3s) and could carve out a home-run role in Jacksonville. Etienne hasn’t locked down the RB1 role, and Tank Bigsby is solid but not dominant. Deep sleeper potential.

Ollie Gordon – Miami Dolphins 🚨🔥🔥

Could play a major role early in Miami’s unique backfield. Gordon has shown burst, agility, and toughness. Don’t worry about his 40 time — he looks like a future Pro Bowler. Big upside here.

Jaydon Blue – Dallas Cowboys 🚨

This is a crowded backfield (Javonte Williams, Miles Sanders, Phil Mafah), but Blue is a speedy back with solid receiving skills. He could force his way into carries and potentially rise to RB1 status over time.

Jarquez Hunter – Los Angeles Rams 🚨

He’s behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, so consistent touches might be scarce. That said, Hunter rushed for 2,100 yards in two years at Auburn while backing up top-tier talent. Don’t sleep completely.

Devin Neal – New Orleans Saints 🚨

Neal has eye-popping college production (4,700 rushing + 700 receiving yards), but he’s buried behind Keaontay Ingram and others. Sixth-round capital and a 4.58 40 leave him as a speculative stash only.

DJ Giddens – Indianapolis Colts 🚨👀

Former walk-on at Kansas State who racked up 2,400 rushing yards in two years. The RB room isn’t too deep behind Jonathan Taylor and Khalil Herbert. There might be smoke here.

Jordan James – San Francisco 49ers 🚨🔥🔥

BUY. James was a beast at Oregon and could be CMC’s successor. With Mason now in Minnesota, the RB2 role is open. Guerrero isn’t a threat. Draft him confidently.

Trevor Etienne – Carolina Panthers 🚨

This is murky. Carolina signed Rico Dowdle and has Brooks on IR. Etienne will need injuries or major shifts to get on the field regularly.

Woody Marks – Houston Texans 🚨

A promising back, but the Nick Chubb signing dampens things. With Pierce still in town, it could be a long wait for meaningful touches.

Tahj Brooks – Cincinnati Bengals 🚨

A deep backfield and poor athletic testing hurt his stock. Great production at Texas Tech, but he’s buried behind Chase Brown and others. Pass unless you’re desperate.

Phil Mafah – Dallas Cowboys 🚨

Big, old-school back from Clemson who could make his mark in short-yardage or goal-line packages. Worth a late 4th or 5th-round stash.

📡 Wide Receivers

Pat Bryant – Denver Broncos 🚨

Too deep of a WR room to project early returns (Sutton, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin, Vele, Sherfield). Pass for now.

Xavier Restrepo – Tennessee Titans 🔥

Could be the steal of the draft. Despite Ridley, Lockett, and others ahead, Restrepo is a playmaker. Target him early in the 4th.

Tory Horton – Seattle Seahawks 🚨🔥

Great college production, good size (6’2”), and speed (4.41). Might take time, but he could eventually rise above Valdes-Scantling and others in this WR group.

Tai Felton – Minnesota Vikings 🚨

Jalen Nailor emerged last season, and McCarthy is a rookie QB. Low ceiling for Felton, more of a WR4/5 dynasty hold.

Savion Williams – Green Bay Packers 🚨

Massive frame and gadget potential, but the WR room is packed. Hard to envision short-term value.

Donte Thornton – Las Vegas Raiders 🚨🔥

BUY BUY BUY. Already working with the first team. Big speed, low cost. This is a must-draft in the 4th round.

Jaylin Lane – Washington Commanders 🚨

Interesting sleeper. Lane flashed at Middle Tennessee and Virginia Tech. Light WR room outside of Terry McLaurin (who has contract questions). Could earn a role.

Jimmy Horn – Carolina Panthers 🚨🔥

There’s just something about him. Great deep threat at Colorado. Could surprise everyone in a soft WR room. Worth a 4.09 pick.

Jalen Royals – Kansas City Chiefs 🚨

BUY. 4th round pick who has impressed at OTAs. With Worthy, Brown, and Rice ahead, he’ll need to earn his snaps, but the upside is too good to pass at 3.09.

Isaac Teszla – Detroit Lions 🚨🔥

Converted QB with a huge RAS score. Not much production at Arkansas, but Detroit doesn’t have a locked-in WR3. Could surprise.

Arian Smith – New York Jets 🚨👀

Had solid production at Georgia and enters a wide-open WR room in New York. Could see snaps early if he connects with Justin Fields.

Nick Nash – Atlanta Falcons 🚨👀

Belitnikoff finalist. 7 college seasons. Converted QB. Worth a taxi stash with deep sleeper appeal.

Tez Johnson – Tampa Bay Buccaneers 🚨

Speed concerns hurt his stock, but he’s productive. Old WR room ahead of him. Worth monitoring as a post-Evans stash.

Jordan Watkins – San Francisco 49ers 🚨

4th rounder with a chance to fill in behind Aiyuk and Deebo. Jennings doesn’t pose much competition. Sleeper candidate.

Jaylin Noel – Houston Texans 🚨🔥

Third-rounder from Iowa State with solid production. Houston also took Higgins in the 2nd, but Noel could emerge as a consistent option. Draft confidently.

📋 Final Thoughts

Late-round dynasty steals are all about finding players with a path to touches, athletic upside, and hidden opportunity. Whether it’s due to aging veterans, injury concerns, or shallow depth charts — these guys could be the diamonds in the rough you need to win your league in 2026 and beyond.
